This was another run that featured Black Canary, but to me it was more of a revealing insight on Wonder Woman….I don’t own the issue to verify the author/illustrator (Note: it’s Gail Simone/Joe Bennett - Sue) but I know it was in the BOP run… I love when Diana take the hit (the one page I couldn’t find), and her explanation that “sometimes you do that for someone who needs it… provided me with a whole new glimpse into her character as a friend not just a warrior.
