Barbara Thorson from I Kill Giants by Joe Kelly and JM Ken Niimura.
One of the greatest young female characters ever to be created for comics, Barbara is the most complicated and wonderful of young women. Someone we can all relate to, look up to, and empathize with. Her journey is a heartbreaking one, all the more powerful for how strong she is and tries to be. Plus, she has the greatest weapon ever - Coveleski!
Also, she kills giants, yo!
